A ‘Things to See & Do’ Map of Myanmar (Burma)

Our trip around Myanmar was made easier by plotting on a map the places we wanted to visit on our travels.

This meant we could work out a viable route that would allow us to see as much as possible in 3 weeks. We took some paper based maps with us as well, just in case internet was hard to come by… Which of course it was!

Google Maps Engine (Lite) is relatively new, but I found it great for working out the attractions on route to places we were visiting.  See below for the embedded Google Map or better still, click on this link to view it in full screen mode.

Just some help.. The red areas are restricted travel areas, usually reserved for travel with a permit.  Otherwise you can travel freely and easily everywhere else.  Also this map was made by me, which means it's not 100% accurate.  I'm a 99% person after all.  That extra 1% is too much work!
