Today we reached Pyay after a delayed bus journey of close to 7 hours.. Only in Myanmar you could say your transport was delayed because a cow herder missed the cow with his rocks and slingshot, ending up smashing the front window of the bus. I felt sorry for the guy, the drivers didn't take kindly to the situation at all. Pyay is an odd town and we are likely the only foreigners here right now. Tomorrow we visit Thayekhittaya, a poor mans version of Bagan minus the hoards of visitors and higher price tag. Hopefully the weather cheers up though!
